U.S. National Debt Clock

You think this ends well? Never forget that debt is slavery… at ANY interest rate. Hold the people to account who insist on placing their yoke on you! And quit voting for stuff you don’t have the money for! Contrary to what these crooks tell you, no one is going to ‘cover’ your portion for …

Hollywood Scripts – Corona

I am copying here a number of Spacebook postings from the last couple of weeks. Here is one from a couple days ago… I posed a thought experiment: “Does anyone know what they used to use typewriters for in Hollywood?” I didn’t receive many responses. I finally replied: Well, neither the question nor the answer …

Stop Playing the Game

I just saw a headline stating that Bernie Sanders’ real obstacle is not Trump, but the Democratic establishment. Indeed, but I would say that this whole country’s problem is not Trump, but the larger Establishment (the Dark Lords, the Puppet-Masters, the Man (or Men) behind the Curtain). Trump is just a symptom of an Oligarchy …

Glaciers Gone by the Year 2020

and who’s paying for this…. Glacier Park in Montana is having to remove all signs stating that “the glaciers will all be gone by the year 2020.” Not only are the glaciers not gone, many have grown for multiple years in a row. My thoughts? Leave the signs there, and attach a quote by George …

Hugs and Vanilla…

Notes from the journal… for Colleen 10 September 2017 I picked up one of my nieces a few nights ago at the airport. She had flown in from Ft. Lauderdale, escaping Hurricane Irma. I got my first real hug in a long time. It was one of those hugs that leaves you feeling loved and …

Sheriff David Clarke with Candace Owens

This was a simply superb interview. As I listened to this I was reminded of how common sense, intelligence, and good moral conduct knows no racial boundary. Those of us not fixated on race in fact give it little thought. I was also reminded of the hundreds of hours of reading and audio I have …

Brave New World – Revisited

For our readers in Canada (or elsewhere that this book has now entered the public domain) I have provided a PDF copy of Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World Revisited in the ebooks archive. I already own a copy in paperback, as well as on Kindle, and was able to reread it again recently. Published in 1958, …

Corey’s Digs – Investigative Journalism

Sometimes someone says something so well said that you immediately want to share it with others who you know will appreciate it the same way you did. This is one of those pieces, written by Corey Lynn over at Corey’s Digs. She describes what her site is about, and I copy her words here. I …

How language shapes the way we think

There are many ways to transfer to our fellow humans the things that occur in our minds, whether these are things we think, or things we feel… or, most likely, some combination of both. These occurrences may only appear to emanate from within ourselves and language may take many forms, but these discussions are beyond …

Musings, and Future Postings

A friend commented to me that the site (this site) “looks kind of random but seems like currently relevant material.” It may seem random, and in some ways it is, but I want to take a moment to give some perspective. My intentions here are multifaceted. For one, I want to post current stuff in …

Derek Lin gives perspective on the Tao

From the Introduction of Lin’s book Tao Te Ching: Annotated & Explained… In the West, the Tao has veered away from its generic roots and taken on an aura of exotic mystique. Those of us who cling to this misconception may be surprised to encounter Asians who casually speak of the Tao of Jesus or …

Kol Nidre – Different Rules for Me and Thee

It is my intention to do a post or series of posts on this topic after doing more research, but I wanted to open this up for discussion. I want us to have a copy here of the Talmud for reference and research, and have been looking for a good resource for that. I believe …

Larry Elder on Reparations for Slavery

A thoughtful look at “reparations” from the perspective of a black man… 10:37 – Larry Elder – 16 May 2019 “Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don’t mean to do harm — but the harm does not interest them. Or they do …

Code of Hammurabi substantially complete

I am pleased to say that The Code of Hammurabi page is now substantially complete. Everything here is a work in progress, but this was something I thought was foundational for the site and I am glad to have it done. It seems to be the affliction of every age that those who inhabit it …

Pondering on the 4th

I started to write a brief intro to the Mark Dice video that I was about to post, a video from the 4th of July in 2016. I chose not to post it yesterday out of a sense of respect. It makes Americans look so stupid that it might only confirm our need to go. Like King Edward Longshanks remarking in Braveheart that sending his son to meet with Wallace would only encourage him to take over the entire country. And yet is this not perhaps the very trap that is being laid for us?

Fake News – Enemy of the People

President Trump: “Fake News is the enemy of the people.” CNN: “The President is calling us the enemy of the people!” And so it is that CNN unwittingly admits they ARE fake news… but then you would have to be a mindless zombie not to have seen that LONG AGO. Some of the comments that …

Gazing into the Abyss

We think we are unique when, throughout the day, we encounter synchronicity. Yet it happens to us all, all the time, if we are open to seeing it and knowing it. We open a random book to some random page, and there is the very thing we were looking for. We wake up humming a …

An Expanding Earth

Many years ago we were introduced to the fact that the Universe was expanding. Then more recently it was discovered that the expansion was not slowing down, as had been previously surmised, but was in fact accelerating. So what is the universe? It is easy to get caught up in thinking of the universe as …
