Do-Gooders all over America are heaping hate on this woman.
People who gathered recently for a Black Lives Matter protest in the District of Columbia verbally attacked Nestride Yumga, telling her to “Shut up! Shut up!” Their fragile egos could not bear the challenge when she called them out on the inconsistency of their platform.
Yumga is a Resident of DC. She calls the protesters a “group of hypocrites” and “attention seekers.” She wants to know why they don’t give a damn about blacks killing blacks in Chicago every day. “If Black Lives Matter they should matter everywhere! You guys are hypocrites!”
She has plenty to say, but paradoxically the “protesters” have no interest in listening to her. She wonders aloud, “Is it ignorance? Is it deceit? This is just common sense. If you want change, then start at home. You don’t need to be a nuclear physicist to get this. Come on, give me a break! The idea is to create a group of people who feel oppressed… Look, nobody’s oppressed in America!”
“I’m a foreigner. We’re all foreigners, okay? If I’m hardworking… why do you think the entire world wants to come to our country?! And they want to pretend we’re oppressed… let the mainstream media stop trying to force on people to accept that they’re oppressed! I am black. I am not oppressed! Okay? Trying to make some people feel oppressed is just to weaken them – that’s the bottom line!”
Amen it is.
There is an old saying that you can’t see the picture if you are in the frame. Perhaps it is this pervasive lack of introspection today that actually CREATES the very problems those who “protest” always propose to solve. And perhaps it is their own need to feel important that does the most harm of all.
